Use SPS when speed and research flexibility matter
An SPS furnace is usually selected for rapid pressure-assisted densification, short thermal cycles, powder research, advanced ceramics, conductive tooling, and laboratory-to-pilot material development. It is especially useful when the buyer needs to test material response quickly across temperature, pressure, and atmosphere variables.
Use vacuum hot pressing when larger tooling and stable load matter
A vacuum hot pressing furnace is usually selected for larger graphite tooling, longer dwell time, stable mechanical pressure, dense ceramic parts, carbon materials, protective materials, and production-oriented pressure sintering. The selection should start from die diameter, part height, pressing load, stroke, temperature, atmosphere, and batch rhythm.
